The 56th Annual Yankee Conference on Environmental Health has joined with the FDA Northeast Annual Food Protection Seminar this year. All registrants of the Yankee Conference can attend any session of the Food Protection Seminar as the Food Track for the Yankee Conference.The Yankee Conference is offering two additional training tracks, one dedicated to Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response, the other to Environmental Health topics. The Yankee Conference has been approved for MA PHEP funds to attend the conference. There is an exhibition hall with exhibitors/vendors, a Grand Opening & Welcome Reception, raffle prizes and networking. There is also a Collaboration Event with the Food Protection Seminar that includes a harbor cruise and lobster bake on Peaks Island off Portland, Maine. Registration is closed. Payment for all registrants must be received by September 14, 2018.
Attendees to the Yankee Conference are eligible for FDA CEUs, CT Food Inspector contact hours, NEHA REHS contact hours, MA Health Officer contact hours, and MA Title V contact hours where applicable.
The Yankee Conference begins at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19 and ends at 12:00 p.m. on Friday September 21.
The FDA Northeast Food Protection Seminar begins at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19 and ends at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21. Registration for the Yankee Conference will open at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19 to accommodate those registrants that wish to attend the Wednesday morning sessions of the Food Protection Seminar. Breakfast and Lunch is on your own for Wednesday. Hors d'oeuvres will be served at the evening reception with the exhibitors.
